beautiful Friday

Here we are at another Friday and this week has been SUPER fast. I was at work, got ready for OWB, went to Sara's for 36 hours and now it's the weekend. I hope things are going well at OWB (the consignment sale in Champaign).

It was a georgeous day here in Marion, so we were outside after school. The boys and mom also got hair cuts today, so Matthew & Timothy look presentable again. I will post a photo of our new log cabin thanks to our neighbors, the Allen's, and call it a night. This mom is tired!

Talking is over-rated!

Alright, I am trying to post more often for one life long best friend who will remain nameless..Hee Hee.

So, we are in Kohl's, shopping for PJs & returning PJs (don't ask), and my kids feel the need to say "hi" and "how doing" to every stranger in the store. Then, we move to the van and they pull off their shoes and I hear "good toes." Yes, my kids are now sucking on their toes. So, I feel silence or fussing may be better than the slightly verbal toddler.

On that note, I will add a couple photos... think of the lovely weather 2 weeks ago..... and move to the basement to price items for OWB (yeah...I am out of here for 36 hours next week...Dad's in charge).

April Update!

This photo of the twins is VERY blurry, but they are hugging each other and I can't wait to blackmail them with it later in life. They are the best of friends and also the worst of enemies from minute to minute, but wait until they're 16. They'll die with these photos. If I can just get one without movement. I failed to mention that Abby is wearing Thomas the Tank PJs. I bought a 2 pair set for Matthew and she insists on wearing the other set. Too funny!

The other is an Easter shot. Everyone was dressed in cute matching clothes, and yet, the photos are HORRIBLE. No one would sit still, Timothy insisted on combing his own hair that had been soaked with water and is in NEED of a major haircut. So, I will put these in the archives and go with it.

In Surburg news, Timothy is back to school after Easter break. He has been great at school and avoiding trouble even when his good buddy is misbehaving. YEAH! He is reading and doing very well in school. He does continue to chase Matthew & Abby around our house which drives me CRAZY. Speaking of the dynamic duo...they are binky free except at bedtime. I hope to make it all of the time in the next couple months. They are speaking more and more and love to readbooks with mom. They are a trip together and find fun in the littlest things.
I continue to work and am enjoying my time away from home. It's nice to work, get paid and get away. Mark is happy to be finished with Holy Week...that's the worst week of the year for a Pastor. I did manage to be very generous and share my cold with him on Easter Sunday..he's not too happy with my generosity.

That's enough for now, take care!

Georgeous Sunday!

Here we are on another Sunday evening. Now, Sunday evening means the night before work. Not a bad thing, just something new again. I will be back at work at 7 am and home around 6 pm. That's a long time for the clan to go, but I will move to 12 hours when I complete orientation. Anyway, I love my job. I think it will be a great place to work.

We attempted a photo session. You can see how successful I was...today, it was Matthew that wouldn't cooperate at all with Abby at a close second. I did get some good random photos, that I did not publish. I am just happy that I was able to download.

New in Surburg news, "The binkies are for sleeping only....Abby is NOT happy. Matthew really doesn't care much either way. Timothy had a GREAT report card....I still don't get it. You ask for feedback....hear every little thing and think he's doing horribly....report card is good. He did have a few "exceeds expectations" this time...VERY GOOD.
To everyone, have a great beginning of the week.

Good Photos!

It's a great day....the weather is BEAUTIFUL, the photo session was as good as can be expected with 21 month old twins and everyone is sleeping.

I'm ready to start working on one week boutique tags for the sale. Actually getting things out is not a big deal, but tagging and having the sizes all organized is the major pain for me. I am sooooooo excited to get these clothes and toys out, pass on good items, make some money and enjoy the space.

So, after my frustrated evening, last night, I am in a good place at 3:50 pm and I know what we're having for dinner. It can only get better. Enjoy!

frustrated!

Feeling a little overwhelmed tonight and I think it all stems from my 6 am wake up to exercise. I really need to keep good on my promise to exercise and it's best 1st thing in the morning. Anyway, I now have 2-21 month olds in bed and the almost 6 year old is soooooooooo close. I will then plant myself on the couch or in my bed and relax....& then go to bed early.

We are going to attempt photos at JCPenney in the morning. I really have no idea if they will cooperate. So, I'll let you all know how that goes.

I am not going to write much because it didn't post on Sunday after writing a novel. So, that is all. I will attempt to attach a recent photo of the twins.

snow day...well kind of

Here we are on this cold Valentine's Day and everyone except Dad is home. School was cancelled here in Marion due to ice & snow...more the ice. In Chicago, we'd be in school but here we have Rural kids to think of...so no school. It's kind of sad for Timothy because he really wanted to give out his Valentine's, but I'm sure they'll do the whole party thing tomorrow.
Well, we are all healthy (to update from my last post on January 24th). I always get frustrated when the scrapbook gals don't blog, but I can't do that when I can't keep updated myself.

Updates: Timothy is reading simple books but he's on his way. He is also learning things I'd rather he not, but he must grow up. Questions recently include who made God, where do babies come from, Did Jesus have brothers & sisters???? Thankfully, they were to his father. grin.

Matthew is talking more and more and starting to push...wonder where he learned that from?????

Abigail is really starting to talk in sentences but also has moments that she speaks in something that sounds like Chinese. She has mellowed a bit in the last few weeks, so I will continue to work on controlling her temper.

I'm just getting through the week because then we are off to Dville and I am going to the John Mayer concert with Sara! YIPPEE!!! Mom has graciously offered to watch the trio and Dad gets a weekend off. Oh yes, the payback will be in April when I go to Champaign/Danville for a couple of days by myself. Big Grin!!!

Later-
Amy
ps- I'm soooo excited I was able to upload photos today....Matthew & Abigail in their Valentine shirts! Too cute!
